The biggest difference lies in the aim and style: a sales brochure is rather short, visually designed and formulated in a promotional way, while a white paper is more detailed, factual and more focussed on information and analysis. The brochure aims to convince quickly, while the white paper tends to explain and build trust.

It usually begins with an eye-catching title page designed to attract attention. This is followed by clear sections with short texts, headings and images. A clear structure is important so that readers can quickly grasp the most important information. At the end there are often contact options or a call to action.

Sales brochures are available in both printed and digital form. Printed versions are often distributed at events, while digital brochures are offered as PDFs or on websites. Digital versions have the advantage that they are easier to distribute and update.

Images play a major role because they increase attention and make content easier to understand. A good picture can often say more than a long text. Brochures with high-quality images also look more professional and appealing.
