About Go-Ahead Bavaria
Go-Ahead Bayern is based in Augsburg and is a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Verkehrsgesellschaft Deutschland and a sister company of Go-Ahead Baden-Württemberg GmbH.
The trains travel over 10 million kilometers a year on behalf of the Bavarian railroad company, which finances and plans local rail passenger transport for the Free State of Bavaria, and the state of Baden-Württemberg. This includes the Allgäu rail network, which has been operated by Go-Ahead Bavaria since December 2021.
Go-Ahead is in favor of sustainable mobility, as this is an essential basis for social and economic development. A good incentive for the further implementation of innovations is the high level of customer satisfaction and a mature environmental performance. The development of modern train technology, electronic information media and smart ticketing is subject to constant progress.
