About Nordwest-Zeitung (NWZ)
founded in 1946 by Fritz Bock, the NWZ was one of the first regional newspapers after the Second World War. It has remained a family-run company to this day. The NWZ now also has stakes in radio and television stations. Since 2009, the NWZ has expanded its business area and invested in several small online start-ups. The newspaper has now been published for over 70 years and the online offshoot NWZonline has already celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Cooperation with Novamag
The NWZ is becoming increasingly digital. Since 2021, it has been producing its own digital magazines with Novamag. Starting with the Advent magazine for the enchanting Oldenburg Lamberti Market, this was followed by the implementation of further digital magazines with a variety of thematic focuses. The NWZ plans to digitize further magazines in the future in order to offer readers a contemporary and comprehensive reading experience.
