About E. Michaelis & Co (GmbH & Co.) KG
E. Michaelis & Co. - a company of the Igepa group
Back in 1804, Eduard Michaelis laid the foundations for a successful future by founding a small paper business. Today - more than 200 years later - E. Michaelis & Co. is a system provider for the entire graphic arts industry and offers around 70,000 current products at its locations in Reinbek and Berlin: from graphic papers to office solutions, cardboard boxes and articles for the production of advertising materials to digital printing machines and consumables for the pressroom.
Since the 1960s, we have been a co-founder of the Igepa group, which has established itself on the market as one of the leading specialist wholesale groups. More than 50,000 customers from industry, trade and commerce are served. The product ranges include products such as graphic papers and cardboard, packaging and media for advertising technology, including technical equipment and services. With more than 81 locations in 29 countries and around 3,500 employees, the group generates sales of around 2.0 billion euros. As a company of the Igepa group, we stand for a uniform marketing policy while maintaining our independence.
Today, E. Michaelis & Co. is one of the leading German paper wholesalers with around 250 employees and a turnover of 150 million euros and, as part of IGEPA, has a stake in 16 paper wholesalers in 16 European countries.
