About Nordwest-Zeitung (NWZ)

Founded in 1946 by Fritz Bock, NWZ was one of the first regional newspapers after World War II. To this day, it has remained a family-run business. In the meantime, NWZ also participates in radio and television stations. Since 2009, NWZ has expanded its business and taken stakes in several small online start-ups. The newspaper has now been published for over 70 years, and the online offshoot NWZonline has already celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Cooperation with Novamag

The NWZ is becoming more and more digital. Since 2021, it has been independently creating digital magazines with Novamag. Starting with the Advent magazine on the enchanting Oldenburg Lamberti Market, this was followed by the implementation of further digital magazines with a variety of thematic focuses. NWZ plans to digitize more magazines in the future in order to offer readers a contemporary and comprehensive reading experience.
